Adventures and nuggets of knowledge from a year in the learning, design, and technology master's program at Stanford University Graduate School of Education.
projects
Design projects abounded in my classes this year. Much of the focus was on human-centered design. How might we create solutions to needs that people have that aren't currently being met? Check out some of my favorite projects from the year, including my final master's project, StickyUnit!
internships
Internships, for me, served as key insights into what my next step would be after Stanford. Did I want to pursue research as a PhD student? Perhaps not. What was it like to work in public school systems? Not for me. Could I lead design initiatives within flexible environments of small charter networks? Perhaps. Read more about my experiences!
reflection
This year flew by. In the thick of it, it was hard to reflect on all that I was learning and the ways in which I was changing. Here, I take a moment to think about just that.
